Agastaya Jain

Agastaya Jain is the founder and creative force behind Creators Retina Entertainment—a Delhi-born storyteller building his vision in Mumbai. With over a decade of experience shaping premium content across film and television, he previously served as Content Director at STAR Disney, where he was recognized by Uday Shankar as “Best Content Person,” and later as Head of Content at Zee Studios.

Deeply influenced by Indian storytelling traditions, he remains an avid student of mythology and autobiographies. His creative sensibilities are shaped by timeless inspirations—from Jurassic Park to Lagaan to Piku and by the foundational works of Maharishi Valmiki and Ved Vyasa, whose epics continue to define the essence of all storytelling across the world. His passion lies in creating unforgettable characters, stories that engage, inspire, and endure across generations. For him, whether in fiction or reality, it is ultimately the character that leaves a lasting legacy.

At my core, I create compelling characters, their journeys, and stories that stay with audiences and build lasting legacies. Over the past two decades, I’ve shaped content strategy, led execution, mentored talented teams, and aligned cross-functional stakeholders across creative, marketing, and business.

As Head of Programming at Star Bharat, I repositioned the channel with a bold, differentiated strategy celebrating masculinity and genre diversity, driving a strong rise in GRPs and a robust original content pipeline. Earlier, as Editor – Content Studio at Star Plus, I played a key role in creating Anupama, the most successful show of the decade, and reinvented Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for continued relevance. I also launched Pandya Stores and led shows like Mere Angane Mein and Nimki Mukhiya, each breaking new ground while connecting deeply with audiences.

Today, I aim to expand across formats and platforms, creating contemporary, impactful stories that reflect the pulse of the times—relevant, thought-provoking, and rooted in human experience while pushing creative boundaries.

Abhijit Das

Abhijit Das brings over 26 years of experience as a writer, director, and creative leader. He has held senior roles at global agencies including Bates, Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe Lintas, and DDB Mudra, and is the creator of Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films.

Project Head

Shikhar Jaiswal

Shikhar Jaiswal brings a hybrid background across radio, advertising, and long-form content. Having worked with leading agencies such as Ogilvy and Mudra, he developed a strong foundation in narrative clarity and audience psychology before transitioning into television and digital storytelling.

At CRE, he heads the project in terms of Production and also looking at the creative aspect of it, focusing on putting together a great team that can deliver a high-impact storytelling designed for contemporary viewing behaviour made at a number which is unmatchable. A keen observer of audience behaviour and cultural trends, Shikhar is drawn to the mechanics of what makes stories click instantly. His creative instinct lies in decoding attention, what stops the scroll, and what makes it stay.

Supervising Producer

Vikas Kesarwani

Vikas Kesarwani oversees production with a focus on discipline, scale, and reliability. His experience includes key roles as Production Controller for Crimes Aaj Kal (Amazon) and Production Manager for Sony, where he managed complex, high-volume productions.

His credits range from line producing the feature film Palatwar to supervising digital titles like Vinny Ki Kitaab. At CRE, he leads production across formats, ensuring every project is delivered with consistency and technical excellence.

Known for his calm, solutions-first approach on set, Vikas thrives in controlled chaos—often the first to arrive and the last to wrap. Outside of work, his inclination toward structure and efficiency extends into everyday life, reflecting a personality wired for precision.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Yogita Motwani

Yogita Motwani leads creative direction across a diverse slate of short-form and long-form projects. With a background as an Associate Director across films, advertising, and digital media, she brings both scale and sensitivity to her work.

She has helmed over 100 vertical micro-drama series and original digital titles at CRE, shaping content that resonates with evolving audience sensibilities. Her approach integrates narrative depth with format innovation, ensuring each story is both engaging and enduring.

A storyteller at heart, Yogita is instinctively drawn to human relationships and emotional nuance—often finding inspiration in everyday moments and translating them into compelling narratives on screen.

An alumnus of the US State Department’s International Leadership Visitors Program and a long-time collaborator of filmmaker Anurag Basu, Abhijit has contributed to over 1,500 television and OTT episodes. At CRE, he leads development with a singular focus: to build stories that are timeless, regardless of format. With a lifelong dedication to storytelling, he approaches every narrative as a pursuit of truth—constantly exploring new voices, forms, and perspectives that can resonate across generations.
